This is one of the ways I break writer’s block.
When I find I’m not putting as many words to pixels as I would like, I read some brain food. For me, that’s any tough reading that takes real effort to comprehend. This time around, it’s The Republic and the Laws by Cicero. The translation is in one of the lovelier forms of English, and a beautiful way to shake the rust from my wits.
If you’re having issues with writing, I highly recommend it to you. A little classical education always returns my edge. I wish I had the time to do more of it.
